We Did Not Build a School.
We Built a Promise.
A Word from Our Founder
I want to speak to you not as an institution, but as a person who once sat exactly where your child sits right now. I know what it feels like to be brilliant and unseen. I know what it feels like to carry enormous potential and not have enough runway to take off. That is precisely why Eleva exists.
Education is not a transaction. It is a living, breathing relationship between a learner and someone who genuinely believes in what that learner is capable of becoming. Every tutor at Eleva carries that belief as a non-negotiable condition of service. When a child logs into one of our classrooms, they are not simply accessing a lesson. They are entering a space where they are expected to rise, supported to rise, and celebrated when they do.
The world is changing at a pace that our traditional educational systems were never designed for. The child who will solve climate change, pioneer the medical breakthroughs of the next decade, build the great African cities of the future, or lead the global institutions of tomorrow is sitting in a classroom right now. Somewhere. And they deserve teaching that matches the absolute scale of what they are meant to do with their lives.
At Eleva, we bring together the rigour of Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel, the cultural grounding of the Kenyan Competency Based Curriculum, and the adaptability of the very best live tutoring available anywhere on earth. We do it online because education should have no borders. We do it with care because knowledge without care is just information, and information alone has never changed a single life.
Whether your child is in Nairobi, Nottingham, New York or Nakuru, they belong here. They have a seat at this table. And I personally guarantee that at Eleva, they will not simply pass their examinations. They will discover who they are, and they will leave our classrooms ready to go and be exactly that.
Agnes Treasure is not merely the Founder and Managing Principal of Eleva Learning Centre — she is its heartbeat. A Kenyan educator with fire in her bones and a quiet conviction that education is the most powerful force on earth, she built Eleva from one simple, stubborn belief: every child, everywhere, deserves a teacher who sees them.
Her journey began where every great teacher’s journey begins — in a classroom. She has watched shy learners bloom into debaters, struggling readers become confident writers, and children who once doubted themselves step into examinations with their heads high. Those moments are not statistics to Agnes. They are the reason she wakes up every morning.
She founded Eleva because she refused to accept that world-class teaching should be a privilege reserved for a few. She imagined a space where the Kenyan child in Nakuru, the diaspora child in London, and the curious teenager in a small town miles away could all sit in the same warm, rigorous, live classroom. That space is now Eleva.
